Shipping Policy

Round Trip Shipping and diagnostics are free with any approved service. If you decide to decline service once your laptop arrives at Illume Solutions, there is a $49 service fee. Free RAM installation is valid with any other approved repair. A $49 service fee will apply for RAM installed or diagnostics without any other service.

Service Guarantee

Illume Solutions will guarantee both labor and parts for any repair or service for a period of 90 days. In addition to this, optical drives and hard drives will carry a 1-year Manufacturers warranty for the service part only, which does not include labor beyond the 90 day guarantee. Only the part that was replaced will be covered, no other parts, accessories, perhipherals, software or operating systems or environments will be included in this service guarantee.

Data Loss

Illume Solutions, Inc. uses professional, trained, and qualified technicians for its repair and upgrade services. However, during the virus/spyware removal process, or during the upgrade or repair process, data can be permanently lost or destroyed. Illume Solutions, Inc. will take all reasonable precautions and care to prevent data loss or destruction, however:

ILLUME SOLUTIONS, INC. WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DATA LOSS RESULTING FROM ANY OF OUR SERVICES, EITHER DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, INTENTIONAL OR AS AN UNINTENTIONAL CONSEQUENCE OF OUR SERVICES. VIRUSES OR SPYWARE MAY HAVE ALREADY DAMAGED OR DELETED DATA, AND CANNOT BE REMOVED WITHOUT DELETION OF CERTAIN FILES. ILLUME SOLUTIONS, INC. WILL INFORM YOU PRIOR TO THE DELETION OF DATA, IF POSSIBLE, IN WRITING IF REQUESTED. ONCE ANY DATA HAS BEEN DELETED FROM THE COMPUTER SYSTEM, THE DATA SHOULD BE CONSIDERED COMPLETELY UNRECOVERABLE BY ANY MEANS. IT IS ASSUMED THE CUSTOMER AND OWNER OF THE COMPUTER SYSTEM HAS BACKED UP OR REMOVED IMPORTANT OR PROPRIETARY DATA PRIOR TO THE START OF THE UPGRADE OR REPAIR PROCESS. BACKUPS SHOULD BE STORED IN A LOCATION OTHER THAN THE COMPUTER BEING REPAIRED OR UPGRADED. ILLUME SOLUTIONS, INC. CAN ATTEMPT TO BACKUP DATA FOR YOU FOR AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE.
